On March 6, 2013, one of the leading international providers of telecommunication services Vimpelcom Ltd (trademark Beeline in Uzbekistan) released financial and operations results for IV quarter of 2012.
Clear operation revenue of company in Uzbekistan from October up to December made up 158 million US dollars with the growth to 99% (with 80 million US dollars) comparing to fourth quarter of 2011.
Adjusted EBITDA index (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) in Uzbekistan grew to 193% in relations to IV quarter of 2011 (from 32,6 million US dollars up to 95,4 million US dollars). At the same time, marginality of operations rise year by year more than 19 percentage points.
Following the results of 2012, number of subscribers of mobile operator Beeline in Uzbekistan exceeded 10 million and made up 10,194,000. So, growth of number of subscribers agreements made up 3,833,000 (+60%) for over the year.
Average deposit for one subscriber of mobile communication per month (ARPU index) in IV quarter grew up to USD 5,3. MOU index (minutes of use per month) increased to 13% per year (516 minutes comparing to 458 minutes at the end of 2011).
