On January 25, 2013, a meeting was held on realization and effective coordination of tasks on developing the system "Electronic government" with the participation of over 150 representatives of ministries and governmental bodies, as well as senior officials of Apparatus of President of Uzbekistan and Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
These tasks were assigned by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the meeting of Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of social-economic developments of the country in 2012 and the most important priority directions of economic program for 2013.
It is considered that developing "Electronic government" requires solution of various complex tasks and interagency interaction. Meeting was held as a seminar for thorough explanation of essence and significance of assigned tasks, as well as review international experience in this area, information service of State Committee for communication, informatization and telecommunication technologies has reported.
Specialists of communication, informatization and telecommunication technologies highlighted current state of development process of Complex program on developing the system "Electronic government", defining its main base elements, technologies and steps of realization, as well as generating mechanisms of interagency information interaction.
During event participants get acquainted with the methods of making an inventory of state services and designing regulations separately on each state service that set requirements including characteristics of processes, forms, contents and results of state services. It was also noted the necessity of ministries and agencies to speed up the development of regulations of state services aimed to standardization of all levels, processes and procedures upon rendering state services.
Participants also discussed the issues on developing targeted indicators and parameters of implementation of the system "Electronic government" which allow to assess efficiency of activity of governmental bodies via using information-communication technologies.
Participants were introduced with the presentation of interactive services by State Tax Committee to the individual and juridical persons, as well as information about interactive services rendered by Trade and Commercial Chamber of entrepreneurship entities.
Upon results of the meeting officials took corresponding decisions, in particular, ministries and agencies are assigned tasks to make an inventory and regulations of state services, generate targeted indicators and parameters, as well as projects for the Complex program of development of the system "Electronic government".
