The group of volunteers from the Korean National Transport University (KNTU) led by professor Rum Duk Oh, Professor Jon Hup Lee and 10 talented students of KNTU visited Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) within the framework of Memorandum on Mutual Understanding between the both universities in October 2012.
On January 10, 2013, Tashkent University of Information Technologies hosted the opening ceremony of training seminar about "Development of applications for Android Operation System" for the students of TUIT, Tashkent Professional College of Information Technologies and Tashkent Professional College of Communication. During the ceremony Rektor of TUIT H. Mukhitdinov, head of Korean delegation Professor Rum Duk Oh of KNTU and director of Tashkent Professional College of IT A. Shin took a floor with welcoming speech.
Android is the mobile operation system worked out by the company Google. This is an open platform for smartphones and mobile devises. This training seminar will allow to give new knowledge to the students while others will cement their notions in this area. The subject of the training seminar is important not only to the students of TUIT, but also to the students of professional colleges of informational and telecommunication technologies.
According to the program, training seminar will be held until January 19, 2013, and 12 students both from TUIT and 2 colleges, and 10 students of KNTU, total 46 students will participate in it. Moreover, on January 21, 2013, the fair of developed software will be organized following the results of which succeeded students will get certificates and presents.
